National museums of Serbia are organizing an event entitled “Museums of Serbia, ten days from 10 to 10”. The event will take place between May 9th and May 18th 2015, and will include numerous exibitions and additional programes, such as presentations, public dialogues and others, which will mark significant dates as May 9th – Victory Day and Europe Day, May 18th – International Museum Day, and along with it the European Museum Night on May 16th.
“Museums of Serbia, ten days from 10 to 10” will take place in over 65 museums and cultural institutions all over Serbia, which will open their doors to visitors, free of charge, from 10am until 10pm. This event was initiated by the general menagers of national museums, with the idea of showcasing the riches and treasures that are stored in cultural institutions in Serbia. This ten days activity should better inform the public on the museums’ contents and programes.
