Department of History of the City Museum of Novi Sad is engaged in collecting items related to social, economic and political history of the city of Novi Sad, from ancient times to the present day.

For this reason collections that are allocated are in the function of museological presentation of these areas in the historical development of the city.

The curators of this department are authors and contributors of many exhibitions that plausible testified or testify about the rich history of Novi Sad.
