Pedagogical department organizes and runs the realization of forms and aspects of cooperation with educational institutions both on teaching plan and extra-curricular activities in order that museum activities become an integral part of the overall educational impact. Permanent organization of creative workshops, as accompanying event of the existing exhibitions (permanent and thematic), is a form of communication with the most loyal audience – children of elementary school age. Children in this way acquire primarily knowledge, the possibility of a more realistic visualization and positive perception of the museum as a cultural institution, which is of great importance for their intellectual development. All children have the possibility to participate with previous announcement. Exhibitions of children’s works are the product of creative workshops, and are organized after a certain period of working with children.

The part of the pedagogical departments is also the guide service. Employed guides provide explanations and information to interested visitors in Serbian and one of the world’s languages.
