Department of Documentation and Library keep records for documentation of the museum items, as follows:
– The book of entry (in which are recorded the museum items obtained by repurchases, donations and archaeological excavations) and
– The book of outputs (in which are recorded the museum items that are borrowed to other institutions for display and presentation).

The Museum Library is a special library that has at its disposal rich book fund of more than 10,000 publications.
Expert publications from the fields of history, cultural history, ethnology, and archeology are available for professional staff of the Museum.
